Nominate a Community Hero

A community hero is an individual who is a catalyst for good, supporting and empowering others in the communities they serve. They may be a teacher, firefighter, police officer, doctor or other essential public service worker. A hero is a source of inspiration and hope, especially during times of crisis or when it seems that the world is falling apart. Heroes are also a representation of important values, such as courage and selflessness. For example, people consider doctors to be heroes because they represent compassion and dedication. Heroes are also often a symbol of change, such as soldiers who fight for their country or activists who work to bring about social justice.

The mission of Community Heroes is to recognize the unsung heroes within our neighborhoods, fostering a culture of appreciation, engagement and positive impact. The program connects communities with their local heroes, raising funds for families who are struggling due to an on-the-job accident and promoting awareness of the important role of first responders in the communities they serve.
